Purposeful Delay

For all of you wondering why I haven't posted anything about Skyrim yet I have a full roll-out of answers for you.

The first reason is I want to play as much of Skyrim as I can before I start spoiling anything by looking at any wiki. As it stands I've been wading through all the extra quests in the game before touching any of the faction quests. As a result I have more than 180 hours logged, and I've only been playing one character.

The Second reason is I'm preparing a video series called B10g which will be on the machinima network come this January. The episodes will be weekly so there's a lot of work involved. The videos require a lot of front loading for the effects. This means I have to make templates so I can easily and quickly produce video on a weekly basis. Doing this take time, and I've been working on it for weeks now.

The result of all this is I've barely done anything with Skyrim and guides. Hopefully I'll have some sort of guide out by the end of January, but as it stand the B10g is taking priority.

With this I officially close the book on Oblivion. It was a fun game, but it's time to stop making guides for it, and start looking forward to Skyrim. It's been a good run though, of all the games I own Oblivion has be the most played hands down.

Never intended to make a guide over this subject, but After getting a lot of requests I decided it was finally time to give in. Specifically the YouTube user CheYrUto1 sent me the final message. Nothing special about what he/she said, it was just when I read the message I thought, "I guess it's time".

Oblivion Enchanting Guide

Well I'm lucky I got this out today. I had a lot going on the past week, but none the less here it is. A guide over how to create enchanted equipment in Oblivion. This has been a subject I've been meaning to cover for some time now. I'm glad to finally have covered it!

Melee & Unarmed

Took me much longer to make this than I would have preferred, but here it is. With the release of this video the Fallout New Vegas Weapon Guide Suite is complete. All I can say is thank god, cause I didn't enjoy working on this vid very much.

Anyway, I'm going to dredge up some old unfinished scripts and work with them for the next guide. But before that I'll probably release one or two non-guide videos in the mean time. Reason for that being I have complete scripts already done, and they're easier to make content for.

One last note, this video is being posted here no less than three days before the YouTube subscribers will see it in their inboxes. Enjoy!



EDIT:
On a production note, while cleaning up I discovered I had captured 488 gigs of video data for the seven part suite. I'm sure glad I upgraded to terabyte measured drives a while back!

Struggling

Just wanted to say I've been trying to work on the last video for the weapon suite, but a lot of stuff has been getting me down lately. In addition I'm not as interested in New Vegas as I thought I would be. As a result writing, or covering subjects about it has been a bit of an uphill battle.
Thus in lieu of making more New Vegas guides I'm going to shift back to Oblivion for a bit. Make no mistake though I'm going to finish the New Vegas Weapon Suite first. All I'm saying is I think covering my favourite game, Oblivion, will help me. Also with the advent of Skyrim I want to try and ride the Oblivion nostalgia wave. You know the idea that goes, "I can't wait for Skyrim, so I'm gonna play Oblivion till then".

Progress

Even tough I don't think anyone has checked this blog in a while, I'm back on track with video work.
Over the last two months I had a lot of piling obligations to fulfill, hence the lack of content. However, I've worked through all of the things pinning me down, and I'm back to working on the weapon suite (amongst other things).

Just wanted everyone to know about the good news, and apologize. While delays may be inevitable, here's to hoping no troubles come along anytime soon.

Tak Tak Tak

Just to bring every one up to date, I've been typing up a storm for the past few days working on the scripts for the rest of the weapon suite. As of this post, I've finished the bulk of the writing, and unless something big gets in my way I don't think I'll have any trouble getting the rest of the guides out in a punctual manner.

The sheer number of weapons I'm covering is going to make my previous weapon guides look lite. I really am amazed by how many guns there are in New Vegas. On a separate note, I'm up to a word count of roughly eight thousand. Keeping in mind that I'm not finished writing. I can't believe the amount of information I've put together in the last four days alone, AND that my fingers haven't been worn down to nubs.

Yet there's still more work to do.
